When you are arrested for DUI in Cobb County your case will begin in the State Court of Cobb County Traffic Division. At the traffic court division, you can enter a plea bargain or have a bench trial. A bench trial is a trial where the judge acts as Judge and Jury. If you want a jury trial, your case will be sent to the Cobb County State Court Jury Trial Division. If you elect to have a jury trial, the trial will be with a judge and a six person jury.
